Ferocia's Ad Fama et Gloriam

Glory's registered name is Latin for "to fame and glory!" She is still a young bitch and as such has not fully filled out yet in many of the images shown. She is a tall and lean standard type girl, at 2.5 years she is 25" tall and 79-81#. She has a nice scissors bite with large dentition, plenty of muzzle and length of leg.

Glory is our keeper female from the "A" litter between Vivid x Knuckles breeding and so far exactly what we hoped for from this combination. She has tons of prey and food drive, solid nerve, very handler focused, and intelligent. She learns fairly quickly and as is typical for our lines, has amazing retention and ability to generalize. Many females can be overly sensitive to the handler but Glory is a great combination of hardness and biddability.

Glory has some fire in her belly and loves to work. She pushes me to work and train, to do things. Glory has so far shown to be clear headed and very forward in her work, with nice full grips and good object possession. She has nice quick strikes and puts her entire body into thrashing, in true bulldog fashion.

She is a problem solver without being problematic, she generalizes behaviors very quickly (which is typical of my dogs). Glory is highly resilient to stress from the handler and in general.

Socially, she is not friends with strange dogs (which is normal and expected behavior for bulldogs) but is unproblematic with the other dogs in the household (with proper training and management!) and she absolutely ADORES puppies.

When it comes to humans, she is intensely bonded to her person(me) and is happy and welcoming of family she knows. She is not an outwardly social dog with strangers, she is fairly neutral and has no real interest in getting any affection from strangers. If you have food she will pretend for a moment to be your friend until you give her the food.

She is showing great potential for future competition in PSA with high working ability.

Glory was xrayed on Oct 17th 2023 and her PennHip results are .23 .45 (PH report in the image gallery below) Her OFA Prelims are Hips Good and Elbows Normal (OFA report in image gallery, please note they misspelled her registered name on the paperwork which will be corrected when everything is submitted for her CHIC in the future)
